This copy is an early Summer 1963 - January 1964 mono Parlophone Records 4th pressing from the UK.
The front cover has signs of wear and ageing on the corners and has light creases around the corners and edges, although the rest of the cover is in very good condition; it has a nice shine to it with all the text intact and legible and all the colours still very saturated.
The bottom right on the back cover has the "Printed and Made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London" intact, but the "PMC 1202 PCS 3042" that is written next to it is completely missing due to a surface / laminate rip. There is small blue writing "A.B" in the top right corner of the back cover above the "PMC" text. All other text on the back is legible and clear, although some yellowing is present.
The original "EMITEX" inner-sleeve is NOT included with this copy. The inner-sleeve included is from an unknown source and it looks aged / yellowed. I'm not too sure about the circumstances of this but I'm assuming the original owner replaced the old inner-sleeve after it broke or teared.
We include a Square Deal archival quality sleeve for free that is inserted inside the provided inner-sleeve.
The record itself is in very good condition. The early pressings of this album have a reputation for being louder and punchier, and this copy holds up against that very well. The surface noise is minimal and only heard in quiet sections and there are no loud clicks, pops, or audible scratches. The scratches seen on the surface are only cosmetic wear and do not affect play whatsoever.
The labels on both sides are yellow and black with silver text and has both the "Northern Songs Ltd." credits on side A track 1 and 2, and side B track 4 and 6, and the "Dick James Mus. Co." credits on side A track 6 and 7.
